ACE DuraFloŽ has successfully used its proven pipe relining system to save building owners and homeowners thousands of dollars, while also saving occupants the messy, noisy and destructive experience of a conventional repipe. (For water delivery systems, the cost of application of this system is probably the same as for a complete piping system overhaul, but a shorter completion/disruption time and a longer warranty are possible with epoxy water pipe coatings.)
The dried pipes are cleaned using an air and abrasive mixture that prepares the inside surface of the pipes for proper bonding of the copper pipe epoxy. An air and corundum mixture is used to sandblast the inside of the leaky pipes.
The final stage of the ePIPE¨ process is the application of the copper pipe epoxy coating lining to the system. This seals and protects the piping system from future corrosion.
