Pipe Restoration, Inc. Joins 30 Million Dollar Club

Ray Munguia and Mike Carper, VP’s at Pipe Restoration, Inc., have helped bring the company to new levels. Just last month PRI reached its $30 million dollar milestone in ePIPE product applications. PRI operates out of the Los Angeles metropolitan area. Congratulations to all that made this possible!

Boeing Chooses ePIPE to Protect Pipes

The Boeing fabrication facility in Auburn, WA processes all manner of aircraft parts for assembly into Boeing’s line of aircraft. A significant part of this process is to treat the aluminum and hard-metal components in a variety of chemical solution dip tanks, and then rinse the components in water tanks. When the process water piping which serves these tanks began to fail from internal corrosion, Boeing engineers began to evaluate possible solutions.

The tank lines are a critical system in this world class manufacturing facility, so resolving the corrosion problem without an interruption to production was critical. After evaluating their options, Boeing engineers selected the ACE DuraFlo - ePIPE method of barrier coating to repair the damage and control corrosion in the tank lines. The project included the installation of a temporary bypass system to preserve operation of the essential tanks during the project.
