ePIPE Team Awarded 5th US Patent for Enhancements to In-place Pipe Restoration

Pipe Restoration Technologies, LLC (PRT), announced today that they have been awarded Patent #8206783 by the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

This patent is focused on methods that provide enhanced cleaning and lining of smaller diameter pipes.   The patent gives ePIPE coverage for the use of their system which provides enhanced evacuation of dust and other debris when cleaning, allowing the pipe to be lined in a more consistent manner.  Enhanced dust and debris removal assists in obtaining better adhesion of the lining to the pipe wall.  This patent covers pipes used to carry potable water, natural gas, fire sprinkler systems and drains.

“Our research and development team are proud of our ongoing innovation program and this accomplishment. Focusing on commercializing smart innovative green solutions is part of our “Made in America” philosophy.
